Festival 56’s Princeton Theater Group is a non-profit professional theatre organization located in Princeton, Illinois. Performances are held each summer at the Grace Performing Arts Center and feature a cast and crew of professional theatre artists assembled from across the country who are housed by community members during the summer season.  Our productions include musicals, comedies, and dramas as well as free Shakespeare in the Park. We offer a summer drama camp for students ages 8-14 with participants performing in one of the major productions. Additional special events and productions are offered throughout the year including musical groups, comedy acts, magicians, cabarets, and holiday programs. Festival 56 is a non-profit organization and gratefully accepts support and donations year-round.

The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund is a non-competitive, neutral hub to engage and connect local artists and arts organizations, cultural organizations, sponsors, patrons, and venues; to provide competitive grant opportunities to arts organizations, museums, schools, libraries and cultural organizations throughout LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam and Grundy counties located in north central Illinois; and to offer online resources and educational opportunities to our arts community. We are strongly focused on collaboration and partnership throughout our region. Our mission is to bring the art community, traditionally operating in rural “silos”, together under a first-ever, neutral, regional organization. We are committed to assisting our local artists, arts agencies and cultural organizations to deliver the highest quality, broad in scope, educational, and interactive arts opportunities.
